Film Show Tickets Now Online

After almost a decade, the Film Show team is undergoing an exciting transformation. To coincide with this, we have decided to upgrade our ticketing system, making it more user-friendly and accessible by enabling online purchases. While we have cherished the wistful charm of our paper tickets, we are confident that this transition will lead to a smoother experience for everyone involved.

Tickets can now be conveniently purchased in advance from the library website (at until 2pm on the day of the film, priced at £8 per person, including a glass of wine or soft drink. We recommend people buy tickets this way beforehand to avoid disappointment.

On the night of the event, tickets will be available for purchase at the Library from 7.15pm onwards, subject to seat availability. Payment options will include cash, as well as credit or debit cards.

We understand that some may face difficulty with online ticketing, so if you are among the small number of our audience who are unable to buy tickets online, please review the two alternative options below.

Option 1: Assistance at the Library for Bank Card Payments

If purchasing tickets online poses a challenge, simply visit Dom or Will at the library, and they will gladly assist you with the ticketing process. They are well-equipped to help you secure online tickets using your bank card.

Option 2: Reservation and Cash Payment at the Library

For individuals without bank cards, we have you covered too. Please leave your name with the library staff to reserve a ticket for the Film Show. On the night of the event, arrive by 7.30pm to claim your seat and pay in cash.

All ticketing options have been arranged to cater to the diverse needs of our community and ensure that everyone can attend and enjoy the Film Show.

As a reminder, tickets are non refundable and seating is unreserved. Latecomers may not be admitted and their seats offered to another guest.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Film Show soon!
